APFab aims to provide a comprehensive welding and fabrication service, targeted mainly but not exclusively, at the motor sport industry. Services and products include bespoke exhaust systems, radiators and intercoolers, roll cage installations, seam welding and suspension components.
In addition to the automotive and motorsport market, we also take on general fabrication work.
Michael Moyers started Alpha Performance Fabrication at the beginning of 2019. He has 9 years experience as a company director and 17 years experience in performance welding and fabrication after a successful 3 year apprenticeship at Docking Engineering at Silverstone at the beginning of his career. Michael has been around the motorsport arena for as long as he can remember, mainly due to has Dad who is commonly know in the industry as the "Ferret" and has engineered top drivers in the past such as Eddie Irvine, Gill De Ferran and Tommy Byrne. Michael is also a keen racing driver, mainly in Formula Ford 1600 and has won 3 Castle Combe Carnival's and is a 2 time Walter Hayes Trophy Winner.
Here at APFab we have a 5 strong team and are well equipped, with 3 Fronius TIG sets, 2 Kempi Mig Sets, 50 tonne CNC brake press, and tube bending capabilities and a 4000sqft workshop.
Based in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, APFab is centrally located between potential race circuit customers at Silverstone and Santa Pod. Our workshop is located on the Finedon Road Industrial Estate and is easily accessible.
